Every year Cheshire Police offers a number of young people the chance to try working in the police force.
It’s a week-long programme, usually held in July, and based at Cheshire Police’s headquarters in Winsford.
The scheme is aimed at Year 11 and Year 12 pupils and aims to give an overview of policing. Participants get the chance to visit different departments including Force Control Room, the Dog Unit and the Tactical Training Centre.
